We are excited to announce the start of our Summer Sibling Series! This Summer we plan on talking to a variety of experts on the topic. We will discuss everything from a diagnosis, future planning, and more all from a sibling's lens.
In this episode, our guest speaker is Emily Holl. Emily Holl is the Director of the Sibling Support Project which was founded in 1990. It is the first national program dedicated to the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of brothers and sisters of people with special health, developmental, and mental health concerns.
Emily is a social worker by trade, but also an author, trainer, and sibling who since 2003, has worked in the disability field and provided workshops, training, and groups for siblings, families, and individuals with disabilities.
